There is no blueprint when it comes to parenting. There can be many different personalities living under your roof or you might just be exhausted with one little person who’s difficult to connect with.
Chances are you’re communicating to one another via two different frequencies.
Perhaps a child of yours has heightened sensory processing difficulties or delayed learning abilities?!
Maybe they have restrictive behavioral patterns or obsessive ones?
Or they lack social graces and emotional connection?
Perhaps they’re not as talkative as the kids they go to kindy with or struggle with simple language and communication skills?
It’s very likely that these characteristics fall under the huge Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) umbrella which is a lifelong developmental disorder.
Your child or children wouldn’t know they have it and it makes no difference to them when they’re young. However it does affect how they behave and interact with the world around them and it can become problematic in the years ahead.
The characteristics of ASD usually start in infancy. But you might not be able to notice these challenges until the age of 2 or 3 years when they develop a little more. You might be thinking “I thought it would be hard, but not this hard?” And guess what, you’d be right!

As ASD is recognised as a disability under the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), it has created a funding body to support families. This is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which provides funds to families for reasonable and necessary supports to assist individuals in managing and overcoming their daily challenges.
The earlier your child receives an ASD diagnosis, the earlier they can get support. And the more likely it is they’ll develop better communication, social and life skills.

This is because the NDIA recognises it’s not easy managing everything in your world so to alleviate some of the pressure of being in this situation, extra funding gets allotted to you for having me assist you.

Managing your Budget
Your given budget essentially dictates how you roll with your plan. I help you manage your allocated funds to ensure you’re not over or underspending. A frequent check-in call, digi discussion or even a cuppa and chat also allows us to connect and most importantly ensure we’ve maximised your budget for ultimate value.
Your Choice of Providers
In the local Wide-Bay area there are tonnes of Providers available to work with you, your plan and put you on your path. As a certified Plan Manager I connect you to this vast network of active registered and unregistered providers in the Bay who align with your goals. My rolodex is up-to-date so I won’t send you off spinning your wheels trying to find specialists who are no longer operational or have moved their services out of town. Once you select and secure the best care and support for your family needs we can create a time-line to ensure it ties together tightly with your budget and needs.
Claim Lodgement
Provider Consultation
Using the Careview app I’ll upload your bills into the system so you can look over, sign-off and download your provider paperwork anytime. It’s very easy to preview and review incoming invoices, sign-off and lodge them while viewing your entire budget breakdown in real time. We’ll go over this when you’re onboarded with Account B.
Leave it to me to keep on top of the flow between your providers, bills and ensuring your targets remain on track. We’re all working together for you so you achieve your outcomes taking a creative approach whilst staying within the NDIS Guidelines.
Free Plan Management
That’s right. I cost you nothing. The allocated support budget you’re given is all for you or your allocated family member. Plan management fees are calculated in addition to your care needs and paid for separately by the NDIS. You’ll need to sign off on these fees so you’ll also see them in a separate allocated budget, not your NDIS plan budget. This means that there are no out of pocket costs to you. I’m your bonus, free gift or accounting angel thanks to NDIS!
Timely Invoice Processing
With me on your team reinforced with the Careview app, your invoices will always be paid on time. Once you’ve attended appointments and an invoice has been processed, I upload it to our secure system and notify you that there’s a bill that needs your attention. Alternatively, if you trust your provider, you can skip this sign-off step so there are no hold-ups and the invoice can be processed immediately.

I've been a Hervey Bay local since 2004 having completed high school here.
I’m married with 2 beautiful girls and when I’m not crunching numbers, I’m spending time with friends and family in the Bay.
We’re an adventurous family who loves to go camping on the holidays and when we're at home over the weekends chances are you'll find the girls and I baking in the kitchen.

I’m not sure what draws me specifically to Excel spreadsheets, but I love all things to do with budgeting & finance.
